Sarah
Working with children and young people has always been at the heart of what I do. I hold a BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies, a Foundation Degree in Early Years, and a BTEC in Childcare, all of which have helped shape my understanding and passion for supporting children’s development.
I have extensive experience as an Autism Outreach Professional within the local authority as part of the STARS team, supporting families and schools across the Leeds area. My role has focused on promoting the wellbeing and learning of children with Autism, building strong partnerships with both professionals and families.
One of my proudest achievements has been setting up and leading an autism resourced provision within an independent school. In this role, I developed and delivered tailored support packages for students in Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them to learn, grow, and build the confidence and resilience they need to thrive as independent young adults.
Throughout my career, I’ve also worked as a Family Support Officer, Outreach Worker, and SENCO, supporting a network of Early Years settings. Across all of these roles, my approach has remained consistent: child-centred, compassionate, and collaborative.
I’m a strong advocate for early intervention and believe that a child’s self-esteem, happiness, and overall wellbeing are the foundations for lifelong success.
